Brief Description : You will be required to work within the Quality Department supporting the work of the team in processing professional development applications, administration of the praise and complaints procedure, taking minutes of meetings and general administration.
Qualifications Required : 4 GCSEs or Equivalent including maths and English.
Vacancy Detail : Undertaking all Learning and Development administration in a timely manner ensuring the provision of an effective and high quality service.
Support the Quality Coordinator in acknowledging and responding to applications made by College staff for training and ensure these have been appropriately authorised.
Book external training events and liaise with applicants as appropriate.
Set up and allocate places on internal training events.
Help to arrange and set up in-house training events, organising room layouts, equipment and refreshments in liaison with the course organiser.
Support with the recording of all training activity costs to ensure accurate budgetary tracking.
Monitor attendance at staff training events and follow up as appropriate.
Help to process and code invoices and course expenses and ensure these are matched against planned expenditure.
Support with ensuring follow up and completion of evaluations is undertaken by staff attending training events.
Support with the analysing of data from training events.
Maintain H R Learning and Development training records by ensuring the i-Trent system is fully utilised in setting up and recording all Learning and Development activities including training events, course set-up, waiting lists, staff attendance registers and qualifications.
Maintain the training records of staff.
Take and maintain accurate minutes and action plans from meetings.

Working Week : Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Salary : £230.00 Per Week

Experience of using a databases
The ability to produce minutes and reports as required
Experience of working with staff at all levels including senior managers

Demonstrable knowledge of Equality and Diversity
Future Prospects : Progression into a full-time role as Quality Administrator or further develop to the Senior Quality Coordinator post.
Training to be Provided : Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship plus Level 2 Fuctional Skills in maths and English (if required) and Level 2 Functional Skills in ICT. You will also study a range of topics including: IT, Record and document production, Decision making, Planning and organisation, Project management, Policies, Relevant regulations, Stakeholders, Processes and external environment factors.
Other Information : With effect from April 1st 2019 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship.
For all other Apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.
