Brief Description : Looking for the right candidate to become a plumbing and heating engineer who is keen to complete an apprenticeship and have a good working ethic.
Qualifications Required : You will need a minimum of three GCSEs at grades A*-D or 9-3, including English and maths, or Level 1 Functional Skills in English and maths, or equivalent.

Training to be Provided : Plumbing City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma plus Functional Skills (if required). You will study a range of topics including: Building services engineering
Environmental protection measures, Scientific principles, Pipework processes, Cold water system installation and maintenance techniques
Hot water system installation and maintenance techniques, Central heating system installation and maintenance techniques
Rainwater system installation and maintenance techniques, Above ground drainage system installation and maintenance techniques
Other Information : Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship.
For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
