Brief Description : Apprentice painter and decorator will work with a mentor learning the trade of painting and decorating. Preparing surfaces, walls, woodwork, ceilings, and doors ready to decorate. One hour break per day.


Qualifications Required : GCSE’s in Maths and English at Grade E or above
Equivalent qualifications will be considered

Working Week : Monday to Friday (possible weekends when required) 7.30am to 3.30pm plus travel time
Salary : £164.00 Per Week

Other Information : With effect from April 1st 2018 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship.

For all other Apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.
